Two People in Custody After Two Injured in New Jersey Mall Shooting

Two people were shot at a shooting Newport Centre Mall in Jersey City, New Jersey. Based on reports, the shooting ranged from a fist fight around 6:15 pm Friday (January 11) evening.

First responders found a guy with wounds to his arm and foot, and a second man was admitted to the Jersey City Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. Both men are said to be in critical but stable condition.

Police Chief Michael Kelly showed two suspects were in custody, but it was not disclosed if either was the shooter. More information to come.
