Folks Roast Angela Simmons After She Attempts Pole Challenge

Growing Up Hip Hop” star Angela Simmons seems to always be up for a new dance or workout challenge despite her “struggle moves.”

Although the 31-year-old mother claims she’s a horrible dancer, it still doesn’t stop her from giving it a swing and having fun.

She recently attempted to the “Before I Let Go” dance challenge to Beyoncés rendition of Frankie Beverly and Maze’s popular song “Before I Let Go.” The craze has been trending on social media and Simmons hopped right on the bandwagon.

She took to Instagram on Sunday with a video of herself, fitness pole instructor Yumiko Harris and New York makeup artist Christopher Michael giving the challenge a go at Foxy Fitness and Pole in NYC and NJ.

Fans quickly pointed out Simmons’ apparent lack of dance talent.

“Not a lick of damn rhythm 🤣 girl just stop why you’re ahead lol!”

“U stiff lighten up a bit ma it won’t kill you to move your hips.”

“This is too funny she really does dance like a white girl 😂😂 but she thick tho!’

Last Monday, Beyoncé recorded her first Instagram story ever and showed concert footage of a mass of fans swaying to her version of “Before I Let Go” in what appears to be a remixed version of the Electric Slide. The song appears on her Netflix special “Homecoming,” which is a concert film centering on her monumental 2018 Coachella performances dedicated to HBCUs.

Her rendition includes the following lyrics and dance instructions, telling folks to, “Turn around, kick, then slide/ And twirl that ass to the right, now/ Ooh, bunny hop, bunny hop, drop, pop/ Cross your legs, turn around and clap/ Shuffle to the left, let’s glide now.”
